Grouping suppliers

In order to manage the collaboration with your suppliers easier and more efficient, you can get benefit from creating supplier groups, particularly if you are working with large quantities of suppliers in ecratum.

Grouping your suppliers can be beneficial with the following example cases:

• By creating supplier groups for different categories, you can have a better overview to execute interactions with suppliers in the same groups. For instance, if you group your suppliers who provide you with the service for raw materials, anytime you need to make a request to multiple suppliers about the raw materials, you can benefit from having those suppliers gathered in the same group as you will be saving a significant amount of time.
• Another common example of grouping suppliers is that creating groups per location. Especially, if you have suppliers in different locations, grouping the ones in the same location into a group would make it easier and faster for you to send requests to those suppliers.
