After signing up to ecratum, by default, you become the responsible user to receive the tasks sent by your business partners. With the Workflow feature offered by ecratum, you can define a particular user to receive tasks from or to send tasks to a particular company or company group.
Defining a workflow for a user from your company account simply means delegating a user to execute the interactions with a business partner for some particular task types. Workflows can be created for the following task types:
- Document tasks
- Product document tasks
- Question tasks
Depending on the plan subscription you have, you have the options to create a workflow for:
- Sending tasks
- Receiving tasks

How can I manage users on ecratum?
Once you create a workflow for a user from your company account, that user is delegated to handle the task types defined while creating a workflow. E.g. you defined User A for sending a product document task to Supplier B. When Supplier B responds to that task, their response will be in User A’s Inbox, not yours since User A is defined as the responsible user for that specific task occurred between your company and Supplier B.
