If you send out many complaints to various supplier in different contexts, it can be difficult to keep track of them and any reporting or analysis proves difficult. Corrective Action categories are there to help you categorise your corrective actions so you can later easily filter or sort through them.
You are free to use the Corrective Action categories as you see fit - we recommend using them as a means to differentiate between different types of issues. Eg:
- Late deliveries
- Faulty goods
- etc..
You will use corrective action categories when you set up your Corrective Action templates, so it is important to create them first.
Go to Corrective Action categories in the Configuration Menu to create some categories :
The Corrective Action Categories page contains :
- on the left, the list of categories you have created
- on the right, a short form to create a new category. Simply type in a category name and click Create to create the category
